If You Don't Dream... How You Gonna Have a Dream Come True?

I love the line from South Pacific.... "If you don't dream, how ya gonna have a dream come true?". I hate to brag, but apparently our house is THE COOLEST house on the street for playing basketball! I'm not sure if it is our dead lawn, the crooked backboard, or the fact that we actually do have a sweet net on our hoop... but something magnetizes the boys to our basketball hoop! I love watching the group of about 10 elementary school boys DREAMING of the glories that await them and their basketball skills! They are outside all the time! I can tell from watching them that they spend most their time totally dreaming... they run around the yard doing incredible jump shots, they yell, they slam-dunk the ball, they give one another pointers! Oh man it is so fun to watch!! One morning a group of them were already up and outside "warming" up BEFORE 7:00 am!! Now that is serious! (Luckily I'm awake long before 7 getting ready for the wonderful accounting work-world.)

I love the dreamers! I love the look of dream and glory in the eyes of the boys as they envision the glory that their skills can bring!! Long live the dreamers! :)
