Garage Project

Wow, I feel like such the big-time homeowner now... I have a project in the garage! A couple weeks ago it felt like spring... all warm and sunny, so I moved all the kitchen cupboard doors from the basement out to the garage for painting! I got one coat on the back-side of all the doors before the weather turned WINTERISH again! Brrr! It was mighty difficult to motivate myself to go out and paint in the FREEZING COLD! After waiting for two weeks for a HEAT WAVE I decided I just had to suck it up and paint in the cold. Amazingly enough it wasn't too bad! The doors are ALMOST all done now!



Here is a look at Kitchen Round #2... the walls are painted, the lights are in, and molding and beadboard is up, the counter-top is in, and the cupboards are painted! Can you tell we don't have any young children running around our house? The toxic cleaning chemicals have been out in the open for months now and no one has tried to play with them or stick them in their mouths!
